We have many families with young children. Parents bring their children to the liturgy on Sundays and the children receive communion regularly with their parents. Immediately after the service, we have a short class for the children, where they can learn a little more about the feast of the day. They also learn about the services singing, and sometimes sing the responses in the litanies in the church.

The teachers communicate regularly by email with the parents and the parents help in the Sunday school class. One of the priests usually assists as well. Obviously, the parents are the main teachers of the children, and our aim is to help where we can with their work. We are always pleased to have suggestions so that we can improve things.

If you would like to receive the emails about the teaching of the children, please email the church on
blackcountryorthodoxtrust@gmail.com and you will be included.

We have a detailed Child Protection policy, which is available to anyone who wants a copy. Please let us know if you have any worries.
